Atenor sold Váci Greens Building “A” in Budapest to a Hungarian investment company

The international real estate development company Atenor has announced the sale of Váci Greens Building “A” to a Hungarian investment company. “A” was the first building of Váci Greens office complex which was handed over in 2013. It has a total of 15.700 m² gross leasable area with an occupancy rate of near 90%. Thus, out of the three buildings (Building A, B & C) – with a total gross leasable area of more than 65.000 m2 – delivered during the first phase of the office complex, Atenor has successfully sold two already. The sale transaction of Building “C” was closed in December 2016.

The recently sold Building „A” is leased by a colourful and international circle of tenants, demonstrating a great level of satisfaction. The building houses prominent companies such as GE, Sykes, Enterprise Communications, BNP Paribas Real Estate - who is the property management company of the building, Budapest Bank, Gastro Greens Restaurant, Molinari Café, and Atenor.

The development of Váci Greens continues

Naturally there will be no lags in the development of the further phases of the office complex while the sale and purchase transactions of the buildings are carried out. The fourth, Building „D” is under  construction and will be completed by the end of 2017. It will provide 15.600 m² leasable space and out of this 30% already pre-leased.

The entire Váci Greens project, which was launched by Atenor in 2008, will consist of six office buildings with a total of more than 120.000 m² category „A+” office space. This development has an ideal location as it is situated in the rapidly developing business environment, on the Váci Corridor. Moreover besides several international real estate development awards it has earned the highest level BREAAM Excellent green certification as well.

Growing Investors Activity

„The successful sale of the second Váci Greens building is a great example of the extraordinary strengthening of the Budapest real estate investment market.” – said Nikolett Püschl, the Leasing Manager of Atenor. „Several investors are showing serious interest towards purchasing of future phases of Váci Greens. In addition, we experience significant activity from the tenants’ side, as  proves that Váci Corridor is definitely one of the most successful business locations.” – summarized Nikolett Püschl.
