ATENOR sells fourth building of Váci Greens

ATENOR today announced the forward sale of the fourth building of the Vaci Greens complex in Budapest, to a Hungarian private fund. The building (“Vaci Greens D”) comprises 14,145 m² of office space, 1,502 m² of retail units and underground parking for 260 vehicles. 25% of the building is already leased, however based on the ongoing negotiations, this ratio will increase to 50% by the end of this year. The first tenant of Vaci Greens D, Unilever moves in January 2018.

The sale will close with the delivery of the building early in 2018, but will already have a positive impact on ATENOR’s results in 2017. In the past year, ATENOR successfully sold all four Váci Greens office buildings.

The Vaci Greens campus in Budapest will consist of 6 buildings, offering a total of 130,000 m² of office space for lease.

“ATENOR is aiming to reinforce its role as a key player on this particularly buoyant market in Hungary. The Belgian real estate developer is present on the Budapest office market with almost 10 years’ of experience, and the success of the deals closed in the past year greatly contribute to these ambitions as well. The launch of the new project announced recently shows well the level of our commitment, the development of the 85.000 m² Arena Business Campus on the Hungaria Boulevard” – explained Zoltán Borbély, managing director of Atenor’s project companies.

ATENOR is present in major European cities such as Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris, Budapest and Bucharest.
